It takes a lot of courage to take that first step in searching for help when life challenges become more than we can bear alone.  Wherever you are on your path to greater health, I aim to meet you in that place and assist you in finding your inner resources and strengths.  My therapeutic style is warm, empathetic, and without judgement.  I believe in a holistic approach and that achieving well-being comes from examining multiple pieces of one's life.  Whether you are looking to problem-solve around specific issues or would simply like to explore your concerns in a supportive environment, I am open to facilitating a therapy experience that works for you.

I am extensively trained in treatment of postpartum/perinatal mental health concerns.  I am trained to work with both the birthing individual and their partners as they manage all of the concerns that come with becoming new parents.  I have training in various forms of therapy, including Cognitive-Behavioral and Solution-Focused models and I utilize a Humanistic style in my communication with clients.  I look closely at attachment themes and family-of-origin dynamics to gain greater perspective and understanding about one's relationships to others and to the self.  Mindfulness is key tool for management of depression and anxiety that I explore and encourage with clients.   While I currently only work with adults, I am experienced in working with children and families and have worked in both schools and community mental health settings.  I am a proud member of and advocate for the LGTBQIA+ community and welcome clients of all sexual orientations and/or gender identities.  I am an ally of and participant in anti-racist social justice work and aim to provide a therapeutic environment where Black, Indigenous, People of Color will feel safe and supported. I am committed to constant growth as a provider and believe strongly that awareness of the historical and cultural aspects that affect my client’s lives is vital to providing the best service possible.

Storms make trees take deeper root.
